About SPN
Established in 1990, the Society of Pediatric Nurses (SPN) represents more than 2000 nurses. SPN is the premier pediatric
nursing association providing international leadership and promoting the specialty of pediatric nursing in practice, education,
and research. SPN members come from a variety of practice settings in all 50 states and throughout the world.
Society members have the opportunity to interact with colleagues with similar interests through a variety of networking opportunities.
The Society influences public policy and legislation affecting children through collaboration with other nursing and professional
organizations dedicated to promoting and improving the health of chidlren.
